Moonlight & Pines is a four-season Bed & Breakfast located on the edge of the Ganaraska Forest, in the Northumberland Region of Southern Ontario, Canada.

Outdoor Recreation

The Ganaraska Forest: nearly 11,000 acres of hardwood and evergreen forest with hundreds of kilometres of trails. The Forest is divided into three prime areas, with a centrally located passive use area, which does not allow motorized vehicles, plus East & West Forests for motorized activities. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and more offering hours of outdoor exploration to the enthusiasts. In winter, snowmobile trails crisscross the hilly terrain.

The Ganaraska Trail passes right by our door. We offer a restful interlude for those who are trekking different sections over time. Our B&B offers the ideal place to stay while you traverse the first three sections of trail.

Brimacombe Ski Club: Formerly known as the Oshawa Ski Club, this location offers the best downhill skiing in the immediate area. Our B&B is located 11km from the East parking lot, about 7km “as the crow flies”. For families involved with the Nancy Greene Racing program, we are prepared to host a family of two adults and two children (with roll-away beds).

The route to Mosport will avoid most of the heavy traffic that is the feature of most International events. Mosport is the home of many international racing events for both cars and motorcycles. The track also has a stock car track, a go-cart circuit and driver training facilities.
